Hospitable Review: Is It Worth It for a 1–3 Listing Airbnb Host?
Updated October 13, 2026 · Some links may be affiliate links. How we make money.
If you host 1 to 3 Airbnbs, you probably spend more time answering “What’s the Wi-Fi password?” than you’d like. Hospitable is one of the most popular tools for automating guest messages and keeping multiple booking sites in sync.
But is it worth paying for when you only have a couple of listings? Here’s what Hospitable’s official pricing page says, checked October 13, 2026, and how we’d decide.
The quick answer
- Start on the free Essentials plan. It has no monthly fee, no property limit, and syncs Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and Agoda.
- Upgrade to a paid plan when you want AI to draft guest replies, automatic dynamic pricing, or smart-lock codes sent automatically.
- Try paid features free for 14 days, no credit card required.
Hospitable’s plans
Hospitable has four plans. Here’s what each adds, based on the official pricing page:
Essentials (free)
- No monthly fee, unlimited properties.
- Unified inbox and calendar for all your channels.
- Scheduled guest messages (limited on this plan).
- Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and Agoda sync.
- Trip insurance commissions (US only), cleaner marketplace, and team task management.
- Custom upsells with a 10% processing fee.
- Support through the community and AI chat only.
Host (paid, for solo hosts)
- Includes 1 property, $10 per extra property, maximum 2 properties.
- Automated guest messaging, with AI that drafts replies for you to approve.
- Dynamic pricing at no extra cost (on Essentials, dynamic pricing is free for 3 bookings in the first 30 days, then $15 per property).
- Automatic seasonality discount, API and app marketplace access, AI guest issue alerts.
- Running your business through AI agents with MCP (a standard that lets AI assistants connect to apps).
- Custom upsells drop to a 7% processing fee.
Professional (paid, small portfolios)
- Includes 2 properties, $15 per extra property.
- Everything in Host, plus a direct booking website with chargeback and damage protection.
- Smart lock and thermostat automations.
- Google Vacation Rentals listing.
- Tax collection and remittance for direct bookings (US only).
Mogul (paid, top tier)
- Includes 3 properties.
- Everything in Professional, plus fully automated guest messaging with Inbox AI.
- Owner statements, invoices and payouts, accounting built in or via QuickBooks, and an AI Copilot.
About the prices
When we loaded the pricing page, it showed Host at $25.52/mo, Professional at $51.92/mo and Mogul at $87.12/mo. The page has a monthly/annual toggle (“Save 12%” on annual) and notes that prices exclude VAT, so those figures may reflect annual billing or regional pricing. Treat them as a rough guide and confirm the current price on Hospitable’s pricing page for your number of listings.
What it costs for 1, 2 or 3 listings
Using the included properties and per-property fees from the pricing page:
| Listings | Cheapest plan that fits | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Essentials (free) or Host | Host includes 1 property |
| 2 | Essentials (free), Host (+$10 for the 2nd), or Professional | Host maxes out at 2 properties |
| 3 | Essentials (free), Professional (+$15 for the 3rd), or Mogul | Host can’t cover 3 |
The big takeaway: Host is a one-or-two-listing plan. Once you hit 3 listings, you’re choosing between staying free or moving to Professional or Mogul.
What a small host actually gets
Fewer repetitive messages
The core value is scheduled messages that go out automatically: booking confirmation, check-in instructions, a mid-stay check-in, checkout reminders and a review request. Essentials includes a limited version. Paid plans add AI that drafts replies to guest questions for you to approve.
One inbox for every site
If you list on Airbnb and Vrbo, Hospitable’s unified inbox and calendar sync keep everything in one place, even on the free plan.
Smarter pricing
Dynamic pricing adjusts your nightly rate based on demand. It’s included on paid plans. On the free plan, it’s free for your first 3 bookings in 30 days, then $15 per property.
Smart locks (Professional and up)
Smart lock automation can send each guest a unique door code and set backup codes, so you don’t have to text codes by hand. Professional includes 2 smart devices per property, and Mogul includes 4.
Who should pay for Hospitable?
Stay on free Essentials if:
- You have 1 to 3 listings, mostly on Airbnb.
- You’re fine writing your own replies to questions.
- You already use Airbnb’s built-in scheduled messages and pricing tools.
Pay for Host if:
- You have 1 or 2 listings and want AI-drafted replies plus dynamic pricing included.
- You list on more than one site and want automated messages everywhere.
Pay for Professional if:
- You want a direct booking website to take bookings without Airbnb fees.
- You use smart locks and want codes sent automatically.
- You have 2 to 3 listings.
How to try it without risk
Use the 14-day free trial on one listing, set up your core scheduled messages, and see how often you accept the AI-suggested replies without edits. If it isn’t saving real time, the free Essentials plan still keeps your inbox unified.
Things to watch
- Upsell fees: custom upsells cost a 10% processing fee on Essentials and 7% on paid plans.
- Support: the free plan gets community and AI chat support only.
- Host plan limit: maximum 2 properties.

Bottom line
For a host with 1 to 3 listings, Hospitable’s free Essentials plan is worth setting up right away. It’s genuinely free and syncs every major booking site. Pay for Host (1–2 listings) when AI-drafted replies and dynamic pricing will save you hours each week, or Professional when you want smart locks and a direct booking site. Use the 14-day trial to find out before spending anything.
